J. Bezos Flying Fox Yacht

Leo DiCaprio, Drake and Jeff Bezos swung by St. Maarten and St. Barths over the holiday to ring in twenty twenty 2! Not only did these stunners go to the same place as me on vacation, but Bezos was one of the many mega yachts perched up in Simpson Bay, St. Maarten during my stay at a boutique bay front resort. Before we do a dive in to these classic black stockings, which I have much to say about these….I want to spill some tea about Bezos’ “Flying Fox” yacht.

• The Flying Fox yacht sits as the 14th largest yacht at $400 million, which took 3 years to design and cruises at 20 knots top speed
• Swimming pool is a fresh/salt water pool spanning 40ft long and can instantly go from a chill pool to a warm bath pool
• Cryo sauna and Turkish Bath
• Beauty Salon
• $13k in-house spa
• On-board hospital
• 36 guest cabins, 11 VIP cabins, 54 crew members
• Sun deck turns in to a dance floor
• 5 Chefs
• 2 helicopter pads to take the short ride from the St. Maarten airport, hop on the chopper and fly around the bay for a few minutes before landing on the “Flying Fox”. As the sun began to rise, the true test of how opaque these stockings were going to show its true “colors”. Even though the packaging said, “semi sheer”, we can’t always go with that rating scale. As I unwrapped the stockings from the packaging, I had to pull the sticky top of the tights section apart which has never been the case with any other of the tights I have encountered. This is a good sign to know that the upper thigh support “should” stick much better than others. By far my biggest compliant with all the stockings. The color of the stockings were much darker black than expected, but as you can see in my photos below, the sun hitting them, makes them not your classic opaque stockings that you would wear in the freezing temps. They fit snug around all parts of my leg, and the footy part was tight enough around my size 8 feet to know that they would not be slipping around in my heels later that night. For the price of the stockings, you never know how “soft” they will be, but these were surprisingly more soft than your other typical tights off Amazon. I took a few walks down the beach and even did a few jogs by the water to really test out the hold up on my legs. They passed! And sometimes we are running from the bar to the car in the pouring rain, so why not do a wet test in the bay? I walked a few hundred yards with my feet soaked and sandy…yes, girls, we may be in this situation… you know how life goes! Typical, slippery and more see through look as I frolicked around the beach before stopping to get my morning eggs Benedict.
