It’s the morning of Halloween and I am haphazardly trying to make up a costume at the local CVS store. I knew stockings were going to be in my costume no matter what I ending up whipping together. The make-up aisle is my first stop. Black eyeliner, check. fake lashes, check. black cherry lipstick, check. Now to the slim pickings of the stockings they have available. I go with the L’eggs Women’s Sheer Energy Toe Pantyhose Leggs control top, super moisturizing, sheer black tights. Done! $6.99 at CVS but cheaper on Amazon!

Not only was I super excited about my alter ego vixen costume that I through together from things in my closet, but these tights assured me that while walking through the haunted houses, I didn’t need to dress warm anymore. Truthfully, once I opened the package, they were more well made, thicker that your average ‘sheer’ tights and was hopeful it would be more than just a one night wear pair.
The packaging had the “super moisturizing” phrase on the front and whatever that means in terms of “moisturizing”, I took it with a grain of salt. To me, I would categorize it as a texture feeling. Quoting from the back of the box, Leggs says, “Moisturizing Finish – Helps your legs feel smooth and soft”. I can’t say it felt like body butter, because it is still knitting yarn, but I was pleasantly surprised by the soft texture.
Leggs Sheer Energy, 360 medium support leg is a keeper in my book! Not only now do I know a quick go-to stocking that is available at CVS, I can’t wait to try out the rest of their line from Leggs!
